The 30% dip in the auto industry seems to be doing little to dampen Maruti Suzuki's spirits. Maruti Suzuki has been making a lot of ad splash with a two pronged strategy. The Advantage Maruti Suzuki campaign as well as the individual campaigns for Wagon R, SX4 and the A Star are hard to miss. This advertsing that started in July is expected to continue into August and through India's test tour of England. This week on Storyboard we meet Mayank Pareek, the man in charge of the sales and marketing function at Maruti Suzuki and find out the significance of this marketing investment.
